The FAA is implementing Order 8360.3E, Change 1. This change was issued March 8, 2022. It moves criteria regarding Helicopter Instrument Approaches and Departures from Order 8260.42B to Order 8260.3E. Chapter 2 added helicopter sloping Obstacle Clearance Surface (OCS) and Point in Space (PinS) evaluation information for establishment of Visual Descent Points (VDPs), evaluation of Visual Guidance Surfaces (VGSs) and other criteria.
