On October 23, 2020 Federal Airways & Airspace received certification from the FAA to be an authorized LAANC UAS Service Supplier. This certification allows FA&A to facilitate approval of UAS operations in controlled airspace in near real time for Part 107 and Recreational Flyers. This service also utilizes our Airspace Web Service to proactively check altitude limits and also recommend safe altitudes for Part 107 operators that require ATC further coordination. We are excited and humbled that Airspace will provide such a valuable service to the public and the FAA. The launch date is scheduled for December 1, 2020 and will be hosted on our Airspace Cloud platform. Over the course of the next year we will be rolling out new web services on this platform, many of which will be available to our Airspace users.
