We have completed the addition of the Rural Tower analysis addition to our Airspace software. This tool operates via our web portal and provides and analysis against the rules that were published when the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 became law. In order to record the results of the analysis and identification of the towers parameters and environment the “AirspacePointStudy” database required significant modification. A new tool was created to transfer your existing data to the modified data structure. This tool is available under the Airspace Help Menu (Airspace DB Upgrade). Airspace will run satisfactorily without the data upgrade but values associated with the rural area analysis will not be saved.
